Harry Potter Moment of the Week 2017 #7

Harry Potter Moment of the Week is a weekly meme created by Leah at Uncorked Thoughts and hosted by the wonderful Lunar Rainbows!

This week’s topic is: Favorite Weasley moment?

There are so many great Weasley moments it’s hard to choose just one for my favorite. From pranks with the twins to Mr. Weasley’s curiosity of Muggle artifacts to Ginny’s witchy awesomeness and strength.

I think above all that though, my very favorite Weasley moment is in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows where Mrs. Weasley confronts Bellatrix Lestrange. Up until that point she was just a whimsical witch who knits and loves her children but in that moment, we got to see the depth of that love and how she’s also a strong witch in her own right. I absolutely love it!

What’s your favorite Weasley moment?

  1. THAT is one of my favorite moments in the series^^ I mean, I already loved Molly Weasley but seeing her as a powerful witch in her own right put a lot of things into perspective! She was already awesome but it made her even more awesome ♥ It explained why Ginny was so powerful at a young age and it showed how NOTHING will get in the way of Molly Weasley when it comes to her family!

    1. Yes! It was absolutely wonderful! And it does explain in part why Ginny was so powerful at such a young age. I feel like seeing how powerful Molly Weasley also tells us that just because you’re powerful, you don’t have to abuse it to be happy with and fulfilled by your life. 💕
