Review: Aundes Aura by Ryan Sullivan

Aundes Aura is part of The Válkia Chronicles. The story is about Eoin and his younger sister, Saera, who leave their village of Tarne after their father is imprisoned. Once in Parthon, the the capital city of Duthonne, they speak with the High Priest, hoping he will be able to remove Aundes’ Aura from Saera and leave the Regency no reason to continue seeking her. Along with their comrades, Faine and Oskar, the siblings go on a quest to save Saera’s life.

The idea behind this book, that the seven gods gifted their Aura to seven humans, is brilliant and unique. I really enjoyed reading it and seeing the different parts come together. It’s classified as Young Adult, but I find the characters and storyline lack the complexity I would expect at that level. It would, however, make an excellent book for tweens or younger teenagers. Overall, I rate Aundes Aura 3 out of 5 bookworms.

Don’t just take my word for it. Order Aundes Aura by clicking here and enjoy it for yourself! This book is also available on Kindle Unlimited.

If you could choose to be the Descendant of one of the seven gods, which would you choose? Let me know in the comments!

I received an advance reader copy of this book from StoryCartel in exchange for my honest review.
