Review: Forsaken by Jessica Sorensen

Forsaken is book two of the Broken City series. The story picks right back up where it left off at the conclusion of Nameless. Still on the red world, Allura and her newfound friends continue their quest toward the Broken City. Captured by the Forsaken, a group of savage humans who give the novel its title (and give me the creeps), Allura, Blaise, Ryder, and Reece realize they are in horrible danger and must work together if they’re to get out of it alive.

Sorensen has yet again created a world that immediately grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the novel. The story twists and turns while developing each character and giving greater depth. The only complaint I have is that the third book of the Broken City series, Oblivion, has no official release date as of the writing of this review. Overall, I rate Forsaken 4 out of 5 bookworms.

Don’t just take my word for it. Order Forsaken by clicking here and enjoy it for yourself! This book is also available on Kindle Unlimited.

The calming world Allura thinks of has grass, trees, and a beautiful blue sky. What would your calming world look like? Let me know in the comments!
